Luke Fitch is a UK-based artist. His work primarily uses coloured pencil to capture extreme detail in his realism artworks, as seen in his most recent collection, 'Panthera'. The exploration of natural subjects is the main focus of the collection, the five individual works all explore the different characteristics of each subject. 

Fitch has previously worked on car portraits with both graphite pencil and coloured pencil. Born from a fascination with craftsmanship, 'Drive' was made as a starting point for Fitch to establish realism as a foundation for his style. 

Since prioritising coloured pencil as a primary medium, Fitch emphasises an eye for detail with colour in his work, using excessive layering to create specific tonality and subtle colour variation. This is most evident in the 'Panthera' collection. 

Fitch's work aims to inspire creativity and deep thought through emotional depictions of his subjects. A high level of detail and the use of subtle changes in colouration are the foundations of his work.
